Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) play a major and largely hidden role in causing high prescription drug prices and limiting patient access.

Along with their insurance company employer/partners, PBMs have helped shift costs onto healthcare consumers and providers and make record profits – despite providing no actual healthcare.

​

Other states besides Rhode Island better investigate, monitor and control PBM middlemen - protecting consumers and tax payers and saving them hundreds of millions of dollars.   

​

It is time Rhode Island followed their lead.
